About

Jacinto is a senior associate at the firm and has over 12 years of experience. He is actively involved in domestic and cross-border transactions related to mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, private equity, and capital markets. Jacinto also serves on the board of directors of several Mexican leading companies as secretary or alternate secretary. His experience includes working as an international associate at Latham & Watkins LLP in New York, NY.

He has acquired a unique expertise representing domestic and international funds, as well as domestic borrowers, in the structuring of “warehouse” facilities in Mexico, particularly in the Fintech sector.

Jacinto has also been ranked as a rising star and recommended lawyer by The Legal 500 in Corporate and M&A and Banking and Finance, as a rising star by IFLR1000 in M&A, and as a recognized lawyer by Best Lawyers.

He has also co-authored the Mexico Chapter of numerous publications including the Fintech Global Practice Guide, Banking & Finance and Corporate/M&A Global Guides by Chambers and Partners; the Banking & Finance Regulation Guide by Thomson Reuters; the Private Equity Global Guide by The Legal 500, and the Lending & Secured Finance Guide by International Comparative Legal Guide (ICLG).

He obtained his master’s degree (LL.M.) from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, a Business and Law Certificate from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, both in Philadelphia, United States and law degree (J.D. equivalent) from the Universidad Anáhuac México Norte in Mexico City.

Jacinto has also been the “Corporate and Finance Law” Professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana Law School in Mexico City.
