We are pleased to announce that as a consequence of our firm’s selective and continued growth, we are closing 2020 with the incorporation of Patricio Martínez Osorio as Counsel to our firm’s antitrust practice group.
This lateral hire is important for us to keep enhancing our antitrust practice, particularly on the merger control front, where Patricio has very significant expertise and fifteen years’ experience. He greatly complements our current antitrust team, comprised by a nine-member mix of former Cofece officials and prosecutors who focus their work on cartel behavior and abuse of dominance cases, highly-skilled attorneys doing quantitative and qualitative analytic work, and experts in competition in regulated sectors, particularly energy and telecom. This move also responds to increased client demand towards Gonzalez Calvillo’s highly specialized antitrust services.
