Gonzalez Calvillo acts as Mexican counsel to Metalsa in international offering of senior notes for USD$300 million

Mexico City – April 30th, 2021 – Gonzalez Calvillo, a leading Mexican law firm, represented Metalsa, S.A. de C.V. (”Metalsa”) in the international offering of Senior Notes for an amount of USD $300,000,000.00 (Three hundred million dollars), pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act (the ”Issuance”).

In addition, Metalsa carried out a cash tender offer for the early acquisition of any and all of the outstanding aggregate principal amount of its Senior Notes due 2023, with the resources of the Issuance. Both operations were carried out simultaneously. Metalsa is a leader in the market of structural components for the light and commercial vehicles industry in North and South America, with presence in India, Japan and Thailand.

Gonzalez Calvillo’s team was led by Partners José Ignacio Rivero and Daniel Guaida, and included Associates Jacinto Avalos and Jose Maria Castro.
