Luis has almost 10 years of experience as advisor to national and multinational companies on labor and employment law matters. He provides domestic and cross-border strategic consulting as well as advice on employment and compensation matters. He has employment law expertise in relation to corporate reorganizations and M&As and has taken part in complex operations involving the transfer of employees in business restructurings.

Luis also assists multinational companies to set up operations in Mexico, including the design and draft of employment documents; adapting and implementing local policies to comply with local legislation, among others. Luis advises clients on compensation analysis, data privacy, international assignments, anti-harassment and anti-discrimination trainings, compliance investigations, strategies for complex termination processes, labor audits, modification and harmonization of benefits and collective bargaining and union negotiations. He also has extensive experience coordinating labor claims for several international companies across Mexico.
