About

Arantxa Irigoyen is an associate in Labor, Employment and Corporate Compensation at Gonzalez Calvillo. She has experience advising clients in the fields of labor law as well as in aspects of social security and benefits. She also has experience in compliance related matters. Arantxa has been part of collective bargaining with trade unions and has developed pension plans and assessed in matters of hiring processes, employment termination and lay-offs. In this way, she has been part on the representation of private and public sectors of diverse industries such as agriculture and banking.

Her professional experience includes working as a research assistant in the Corruption and Impunity Observatory (OCI) at the Institute for Legal Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico where she took part on investigations regarding corruption and impunity as well as being a law clerk at the Rogelio Paredes Pérez law firm where she was also part of the labor team. She was also an intern in the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH) in the Fifth General Office where she collaborated on immigration matters and administrative tasks.
