Juan José is founding partner at Díaz Rivera, Lalieu, Rosas, S.C. He has more than 20 years of experience providing strategic tax consultancy to Mexican and foreign clients, especially on M&A transactions. He currently advises private equity funds, venture capital funds and family offices in structuring merger and acquisition transactions with complex tax aspects such as mergers, spin-offs, international restructurings, and financing structures.

Prior to founding DLR, Juan José collaborated for renowned firms specialized in tax matters, including two leading boutique firms in the Mexican market, as well as one of the four main accounting firms globally (Big 4)., in which he served as tax director.

Juan José has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting and Finance from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). He is also a member of Colegio de Contadores Públicos de México.
