About

Manuel is an associate at the firm and member of the litigation practice group since 2009. He has over 16 years of experience advising clients on sophisticated administrative and commercial litigation matters as well as for civil, commercial, energy, data protection, and real estate controversies.

Manuel’s practice includes judicial reviews and other administrative remedies before the Mexican Federal Government arising out from public tenders. His work also includes administrative sanctioning procedures, nullity trials and constitutional relief (amparo) proceedings derived from resolutions issued by PROFECO – Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Agency, as well as for legal opinions across multiple matters involving analysis of civil and commercial agreements, among others.

Manuel has represented some of the most important technology companies in commercial and civil lawsuits (including moral damages), as well as administrative proceedings, where he obtained several important resolutions on behalf of his clients allowing them to continue the operation of their businesses. Similarly, his work includes obtaining relevant resolutions in civil and administrative matters before Mexico’s Supreme Court of Justice.

He holds a law degree (J.D. equivalent) and a Diploma in Constitutional and Amparo Law from Centro Universitario México, División Estudios Superiores (CUMDES) and a Specialization in Civil Law at Escuela Libre de Derecho
