Hugo is an associate at Díaz Rivera, Lalieu, Rosas, S.C. His professional practice has focused on advising domestic and international clients on various tax matters in Mexico, including corporate restructurings, share sale and acquisition operations, spin-offs, mergers, real estate, and infrastructure projects, among others. Hugo supports his clients by providing tax advice to public and private companies in different industries, as well as tax and estate advice to individuals.

Additionally, he has been involved in the promotion of federal tax refund requests before the Mexican tax authorities, as well as in tax controversy issues, dealing directly with the tax authorities or through the mediation of the Mexican tax ombudsman.

For three years, Hugo worked at one of the main firms specialized in tax matters in Mexico in the tax consulting practice.
