Ismael is member of the Energy, Oil, Gas and Electricity and Infrastructure and Project Financing practice areas. He has specialized in protecting companies in the energy, infrastructure, and mining sectors from non-technical risks through advice on socio-environmental aspects, identification of stakeholders, grievance mechanisms, social management plans, social risk analysis, social due diligence aligned with the Equator Principles and as support for strategic litigation.

He has participated in over 50 social impact assessments across the energy sector as well as for some free, prior and informed consent processes. With almost 10 years of experience in identifying, mapping, analyzing and stakeholders relations, Ismael is a key player in consultation procedures.

Furthermore, Ismael has developed forensic investigation and litigation advisory issues, performing due diligence focused on anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, corporate fraud investigations, on-site process reviews, forensic investigation, search and analysis of digital information, risk assessment, among others.
