Santiago is founding partner at Díaz Rivera, Lalieu, Rosas, S.C. He has more than 15 years providing tax consultancy to many Mexican and foreign clients on several transactional matters. Santiago currently advises transnational companies, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals. He also works with different types of investment funds (e.g., Venture capital funds, corporate venture capital funds and private equity funds) and early-stage companies (startups).
Prior to co-founding his own tax practice, Santiago worked for well renowned legal and tax advisory firms in Mexico and abroad. His experience encompasses 3 years of working in New York for one of the world’s Big 4 accounting firms.
Santiago is a member of the YIN Committee of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), Endeavor’s Thought Leader, and the Asociación Mexicana de Instituciones Bancarias (AMIB). Santiago has also collaborated as an author in various articles on tax matters for international publications such as International Tax Review. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
